I have a dream of every designer to see their ideas take shape without corporate financial problems,
During my spare time I build my dreams and you’ve created something that allows you’re a great contact but I would like to have your email I’d love to hear we can leave you my address here is the personal giuliomarini@hotamail.it

  • Shadeycharacter:

3D printing has enormous rammifcations for manufacturing, both commercial and personal and this kind of machine is really pushing the quality well into the practical. Can’t wait for the future.

I wish you all the luck.

  • tsooberif:

what sort of pricing will the kit be, and where can i get the resin?

  • TheFunnynewz:

now when u wanna buy something online instead of waiting for it to ship we will wait for it to print!

  • dizingof:

Did you consider a high resolution LCD screen on the bottom instead of a DLP projector? the LCD light source can be replaced by a set of UV tubes or strong, long lasting, UV Leds.

If the LCD is attached to the bottom of the tray very closely – you should get focused silhouette onto the UV curable resin – what do you think? will it work?

If it does then it would be a small footprint , almost a desktop size, high resolution 3D printer!

If you need 3D models for testing please PM me
    Cheers

WOW YOU ARE FING AMAZING MAN!

  • eldoradoreefgold:

scale this very intricate model up with a slight change in materials& you have a house structure reproducible enmasse!!there is work highly corabborative of this being done at UCLA in california with square shaped traditional buildings with a mixture of concrete and cellulose all guided by standard hewlett-packard printer protocalls! scaling would be a simple extrapolation of this part as to material quantities! brave new worlds ahead!

  • CncObsession:

@trexhertz Probably not any more than a printer. 3D printers that I have seen in person are very quiet.

  • waycoolzing:

That is down right awesome dude

  • DynumoTV:

how much will the kits cost?

  • trexhertz:

does it make alot of noise

  • phantasm48:

That’s brilliant! If I’m understanding what I’m seeing correctly, the supports pull the build upwards and the slice is photo etched from the bottom after gravity naturally re-saturates/spreads the liquid polymer against the glass bottom?! Very clever design Sir!

  • 3goldy:

wow! what the cat thinks of it?

  • oliveirajose:

@halfmumi We will be opening for pre-order within 2 months, based on our schedule the kit will be available by beginning of 2012.
No skills required to assemble, and just one or two hours to put everything working. We may sell assembled too, not confirmed.

  • conoba:

    The result looks wonderful.

  • halfmumi:

@oliveirajose how soon? =) How hard the kit construction will be?

  • jukpulfer:

    Damn sh!T!!!

  • jeancolmor:

    bravo

  • infyrno917:

    holy shit

  • jawawookie:

this is nerd pr0n, i love it to hard in the face, i want one of these!!!!

  • pitychee:

Who else want to smash that thing!?

  • ingbuch88:

This is amazing. I was interested in building a Rep Rap, but now I can’t wait to do a project that could achieve such precision. Will all of the plans, schematics, etc. be freely available for all us diy people? Or are we going to have to purchase a kit? Keep up the great work!

  • MisguidedOracle:

Nice. The glow as the object is printed/lifted makes it look like something magical and/or out of a sci-fi movie. Looking forward to seeing how the kit turns out.

  • vcoleiro1:

Have you considered putting this project up on Kickstarter ?
