How many of you have the 3D pictures of your baby?
I had my 32 week ultrasound and I was very disappointed that she could print out pictures that I can’t see. I was so looking forward to seeing pictures of my baby because now she is much bigger. I wanted to know how many of you had the 3D pictures and did you have to pay for it or is it that your doctor’s office is much more updated so they are using more sophisticated ultrasound machines. Do you think that I will have another sonogram again to check the baby’s weight and position.

I consider you lucky for even getting that 32 week ultrasound. I’m 34 weeks and there’s still no talk of giving me another
I did however just do my 3D ultrasound last week. We paid $160 for an 90 minutes and it was the best money I have ever spent. They really are amazing and I highly recommend getting one done. As for getting another, I really don’t think that they will unless they think there may be a problem.
With my son at the 20week scan, she put all photos on a disk, including 2 3d pictures. I refuse to look at the 3d pictures as my son’s face looks broken in half and fused to the uterus wall. The bones in his head hadn’t hardened at that stage and it just looks plain scary.
I had mine done a few days ago at 12+5 weeks.
I didn’t have to pay for them even though im in the UK and it’s rare to get one of these done at this stage let alone for free!, I was very lucky!.
In the UK we normally only get 2 ultrasounds one at 12 weeks and another at about 20 weeks, unless there are complications they won’t normally bother.
I can’t see why they would do another ultrasound, but i know you can go private and have a 3d/4d scan done.

My wife and I had our done about two weeks ago, and it was an amazing experience. My son was sleeping in the womb, and using her uterus as a pillow, so we only got to see one side of his face. The ultrasound technician said that she will try to do it again the next time we go. The 3D scan was free of charge. The doctor gives you at least one free of charge. Overall, I am happy with it all.
They probably won’t do another 3D scan on you, but they may do another 2D scan just to check out the baby. You’ll be just fine. You may be able to convince her to just try one 3D scan the next time you have an ultrasound if the baby is moving around. She may do it for you. Good luck.
The 3d pics with my first son were really good. This time they weren’t so good. Insurence pays for my ultra sounds. I dought you will have another one done unless you are having problems. Don’t fret you will see that baby soon!!
