DMLS Direct Metal Laser Sintering process in action utilizing EOS GmbH platform, the M270. This technology sinters layers of fine metal alloys utilizing a 100 watt laser to additively manufacture real, fully dense metal parts. This geometry is building in our DirectAlloy 718 material at 20 micron layers. Notice the intelligent patterns that the laser sinters in. We have been running this equipment for 5 years and still get caught with our noses to the glass, drooling, just watching the build process… Our sincerest apologies for not including the prototypical male narrative to describe the build porcess.
